Two ways to work with us

Direct partner, or coordinator of your project.

Depending on the size and complexity of your project, Logil takes on one or the other of these roles — or a combination of both.

Option A

Local proximity partner

SMEs of 5 to 80 staff · Lake Geneva region

Logil acts directly as your Odoo implementer. We are your single point of contact from the first meeting to training your teams. No middleman, no dependence on a remote provider: a consultant you can reach, quickly available on site, who knows your case down to the smallest detail.

Ideal for
SMEs of 5 to 80 staff
Projects covering 3 to 8 Odoo modules
Controlled budget, need for responsiveness

Option B

Coordinator with a certified partner

Complex projects with a certified Odoo partner

For more complex projects — multi-company, advanced integrations, a very broad functional scope — Logil selects the best-suited certified Odoo partner and steers the relationship on your behalf. You benefit from extensive expertise without managing the technical relationship directly. Logil remains your point of reference throughout the project.

How a typical project unfolds

Six phases, each with its validated deliverables.

1

Audit & needs analysis

Analysis of your current processes, identification of the data to migrate, assessment of functional gaps. The resulting scoping document becomes the reference for the project.

Process mappingData inventoryRequirements spec
2

Scoping & module selection

Choice of Odoo edition (Community or Enterprise), selection of modules according to your business flows, definition of the deployment plan and hosting environment.

3

Configuration & development

Configuring Odoo around your flows, developing custom modules where needed (QWeb reports, connectors, automations), chart of accounts, taxes and documents.

4

Data migration

Import of your historical data — customers, suppliers, items, prices, accounting history, opening balances — with quality checks at every step. Used to poorly structured exports.

5

Training & go-live

Acceptance phase with key users, testing of critical processes under real conditions. Training tailored to each group. Go-live scheduled for a low-activity period.

6

Post go-live support & evolution

Intensive support in the first weeks, then normal support. Corrective and evolutionary maintenance, version upgrades, new modules as your needs evolve. On contract or ad hoc.

Swiss specifics mastered

Odoo v14 to v19, on-premise or odoo.sh — and the Swiss framework.

You do not discover these constraints at go-live: they are built in from the configuration stage.

QR

RFID

Attendance tracking

Time clocking via RFID/NFC badge reader, tracking of attendance and absences, automatic synchronisation with Odoo timesheets.

Why Logil for your migration?

Our experience spans Odoo 14 to 19, on-premise and odoo.sh environments, and we know the pitfalls of migrations — data loss, incomplete configuration, resistance to change.

You talk to the person who configures

The consultant who analyses your project is the same one who configures Odoo, develops the modules and trains your teams. Nothing is lost between the promise and the deliverable.

We know the pitfalls of migrations

Corrupted data, configuration revealed at year-end, team resistance — we have met them on real projects and know how to anticipate them.

Objective advice: Community vs Enterprise

We help you choose between the two editions based on your real situation — not on our margin on licences.

Real geographic proximity

Based in Bernex (GE), available the next day when needed during critical phases — go-live, training, urgent blocker.

A long-term relationship

Our clients still contact us two years after go-live for a version upgrade or a new module. That is the partnership we look for.

Frequently asked questions about Odoo migration

What we get asked most often.

What is the difference between Odoo Community and Enterprise?

Community is free but lacks some key modules (advanced accounting, official support). Enterprise requires an annual per-user subscription and is recommended for the vast majority of Swiss SMEs.

Can we recover all our data from the old system?

In most cases yes, provided the data is exportable. We work from Sage, Winbiz, Crésus, ProConcept, Navision or Excel exports. We carry out a data audit before committing to the scope.

Which version of Odoo should we choose?

We systematically recommend the latest stable version for a new deployment. If you are migrating from an older version (v12, v14, v16…), we assess the cost and benefit of moving directly to the latest version.

Is Odoo suitable for an SME of 5 to 10 people?

Yes, as long as you deploy only the useful modules and avoid over-configuring. Odoo can be very simple for a small organisation and grow progressively with you.

Do you offer hosting?

We deploy on odoo.sh, on a VPS of your choice or on your on-premise infrastructure. Each option has its advantages depending on your cost, security and governance constraints. We advise you objectively.

What happens if our needs evolve after go-live?

That is the norm. Odoo is designed to evolve. We can activate new modules, develop additional features or support you during a version upgrade — on a monthly contract or ad hoc.

Do you work with public entities or associations?

Yes. We are used to specific constraints: tender procedures, traceability requirements, data hosting in Switzerland, multi-level validation. Our quotes are compatible with your procurement procedures.

Can we keep ProConcept and add Odoo alongside it?

In some cases yes — for example ProConcept for production and Odoo for CRM or the website. We develop the necessary connectors, but this architecture requires more maintenance in the long term.

A 30 to 60 minute conversation
